This Crock Pot French Dip Recipe is a delicious and easy way to make a classic sandwich. The slow cooker does all the work, so you can enjoy a flavorful and juicy sandwich with minimal effort. The beef is cooked in a flavorful broth and served with melted cheese and a side of au jus for dipping.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 lbs. beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4-6 French rolls
  • Sliced cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour the mixture over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  6. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  7. To assemble the sandwiches, place the shredded beef on the French rolls and top with cheese, if desired. Serve with the au jus for dipping.
