Chinese Chicken & Broccoli

This Chinese Chicken & Broccoli dish is a classic stir-fry that is easy to make and full of flavor. It is a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables and protein.


  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Add the sauce to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened and the broccoli is tender.
  6. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
