Chinese Chicken & Broccoli
This Chinese Chicken & Broccoli dish is a classic stir-fry that is easy to make and full of flavor. It is a great way to get your daily dose of vegetables and protein.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
- Add the sauce to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is thickened and the broccoli is tender.
