“Patatas Bravas: A Taste of Spain at Home”
Patatas Bravas
Ingredients:
– 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sauce:
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 2 tablespoons tomato paste
– 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon ground cumin
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Place the cubed potatoes in a large bowl and add the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the potatoes evenly.
3. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
4. Meanwhile, make the sauce by combining the mayonnaise, tomato paste, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix until well combined.
5. Serve the potatoes with the sauce and enjoy!
