Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 cups warm water (105-110°F)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add the warm water and olive oil to the bowl and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and a damp towel, then let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
- Punch the dough down and divide it into two equal portions for two 12-inch pizzas, or four equal portions for four 8-inch pizzas.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to the desired thickness and shape. Add your toppings and bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
- Serve and enjoy your delicious homemade pizza!
