Natasha’s Kitchen: Perfect Pizza Dough

If you want to make the perfect pizza at home, it all starts with the dough! Natasha’s Kitchen has a recipe that will make the perfect crust every time; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Follow these steps to make your own homemade pizza dough.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water (105-110°F)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the bowl and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 7-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and a damp towel, then let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Punch the dough down and divide it into two equal portions for two 12-inch pizzas, or four equal portions for four 8-inch pizzas.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to the desired thickness and shape. Add your toppings and bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Serve and enjoy your delicious homemade pizza!
