Cheese Fondue

Cheese fondue is a classic Swiss dish that is perfect for a cozy night in. This recipe is easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. Enjoy this delicious dish with your favorite dippers such as bread, vegetables, and fruit.

Ingredients:

– 2 cups of shredded Gruyere cheese
– 2 cups of shredded Emmental cheese
– 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 1 cup of white wine
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, combine the Gruyere and Emmental cheeses with the cornstarch. Mix until the cheese is evenly coated.
2. In a medium saucepan, heat the white wine over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3. Slowly add the cheese mixture to the saucepan, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Add the lemon juice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
