Matcha Cheesecake Brownies

These Matcha Cheesecake Brownies are a delicious combination of two classic desserts. The rich, fudgy brownie base is topped with a creamy, green tea-infused cheesecake layer. The result is a decadent treat that is sure to please any matcha lover.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and matcha powder until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
