Mayak Eggs (Korean Marinated Eggs)

Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Place eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove eggs from heat and let cool in the water for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Peel eggs and set aside.

- Add eggs to the bowl and gently stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
