One Pan Chicken and Rice Recipe

– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup long grain white rice
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 1 cup frozen peas
– 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chicken cubes and season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
3. Add the rice and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
5. Add the frozen peas and stir to combine. Cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the rice is cooked through.
