Chicken and Broccoli (Chinese Takeout Style)

This classic Chinese takeout dish is a favorite for many. It’s a simple stir-fry of chicken and broccoli in a savory sauce. It’s easy to make and can be served with steamed rice or noodles.

Ingredients:

– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 cups broccoli florets
– 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions:

1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chicken and garlic and cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the broccoli and cook for another 3 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli and stir to combine.
6. Cook for another 2 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and bubbly.
